MARCH 2021: New community Qigong offerings begin again

As we make progress in recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions are beginning to loosen. The ongoing vaccination campaign and warmer weather are bringing us together outdoors (though with plenty of space for distance).

With the official start of spring (March 21), we are happy to announce the scheduling of new community classes outdoors. Current offerings and Zoom links are detailed below, and may also be found on our online Google calendar.

If you would like more information, send  an e-mail to us at Your message will be passed on to the teacher(s) involved, and we’ll see what we can do!

Our community classes are solely educational, and focus on mindful and gentle exercise, self-care, stress reduction, and overall wellness. The teachers welcome adult participants without regard to age, gender, racial categories, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or economic status.

Qigong practices as taught in our community sessions are know to be safe. However, it is the responsibility of each participant to remain mindful of their body’s capabilities for pain free movement. Of course, participants are free to “pass” on any movements that feel risky to their overall sense of wellness. If you have any concerns about undertaking exercise (Qigong or other), we recommend consulting with your health care provider before undertaking any sort of dynamic, moving exercise.
